Digital Audio Embedder

The Microvideo MUX200 Audio Embedder is designed to insert 2
stereo AES/EBU digital audio inputs into a serial digital video
source. It conforms to SMPTE 272M and allows the audio to be put
into any of the 4 audio groups. The embedder can also append to,
or overwrite audio that is already present. By using multiple units,
up to sixteen channels of audio can be embedded into the digital
video signal. Digital silence is internally generated and inserted if an
audio source is missing.

The MUX200 embedder is a very compact eurocard size board
allowing up to 6 modules in a 1U rack, making it ideal for
multi-channel applications.

Audio Inputs: Two digital audio stereo pairs conforming to the AES/EBU
specifications as describe in EBU tech 3250-E (or AES-3-1992)
Input on a single 15 way D type socket.
Unbalanced 75R inputs are available as an option

Video Output:
Serial Digital Video conforming to EBU Tech 3267-E and SMPTE 259M with embedded
audio according to SMPTE 272M-A.

Size is 220 x 100mm for mounting in Microvideo 1U or 3U frames
