The Microvideo DMX201A module extracts audio that has been embedded into Serial Digital Video (270Mb/s),
conforming to SMPTE272M-A. It produces four channels of analogue audio at balanced line level and can
extract from any of the four audio groups.

The DMX201A is part of our Series 200 range of products. These can be mounted in a 1U or 3U frame. All the
modules in the Series 200 range are eurocard size and plug into the front of the frame for easy access.

Specifications
Video Input:
Serial digital (270Mb/s) with reclocked loop through to EBU Tech 3267-E and SMPTE
259M conaining embedded audio to SMPTE 272M-A.

Video Output:
Active loop through (with power fail relay bypass) output on BNC.

Audio Outputs:
Four channels of balanced analogue audio at standard line level (0dbM = 18dB of full
scale). All on a single 15 way D-Type.
Precision adjustment of level for individual channels on the board.

Control:
DIP switches - Select which group is extracted from.
Select channels (1 & 2 or 3 & 4) to convert to analogue for
monitoring output.
LEDs indicate - SDV input.
Embedded audio on SDV.

Physical: The module will fit in a Microvideo 1U or 3U frame.
Power consumption is 8W per card.
