FS-411A Video Synchronizer

Synchronizer. Decoder. Encoder. Pair it with the DAS-441A and its also an audio embedder. Switch between PAL and NTSC via the user menu.

The SDI synchronizer path accepts an SDI input or uses Fortel DTV's proprietary 12-bit adaptive comb filter to decode the composite input and generate the SDI output. The decoder generates a cleaner, more accurate SDI signal by eliminating quantizing errors and unwanted comb artifacts. Dual Band Processing and Dynamic Threshold Modification preserve luminance detail and reduce chroma crawl and false chroma.

DUAL MODE feature allows use as a bi-directional transcoder, so that one card can convert analog to digital and digital to analog simultaneously. Ideal for hybrid suites where inputs and outputs of a device must both be converted. The FS-411A can alternately be run in standard mode, where one selected input is output as both analog and digital.

The FS-411A is a modular card for Integrity system frames. Choose either a 1RU standalone frame or a 4RU higher-density frame with optional redundant power supply.
