The Goal:
The target of DVB-T technology is to provide a value-for-money and efficient solution for quality network adaptation of broadcast quality video, audio, telephony and data.

The Solution:
To meet these demands, ATecoM has launched a new DVB adapter product family named DVB BlueBird. DVB BlueBird adapter is designed to support customer needs for quality DVB-T/C applications.

By utilizing the DVB-T BlueBird adapter, the customer will benefit from its extreme cost-effectiveness and efficiency. It offers broadcasters reliability, proved by our ATM Vision product family.

The DVB-T BlueBird supports a network adaptation of data from PDH/SDH/ATM/Sonet networks by splitting them into up to 3x ASI Rx streams which carry SPTS or MPTS. This goal is attained by using of AAL1 w/o FEC or AAL5 in combination with one of the most powerful and accurate clock recovery mechanisms available in the market today. The DVB BlueBird offers a perfect choice for building-up an efficient and cost-saving DVB network structure.

Furthermore, In-band control via CLIP is provided in DVB BlueBird as an option.
