The target of the Merlin AM-1 is the transmission or reception of digital video and data over SDH/SONET, ATM and PDH networks.

The Solution:
Merlin AM-1 supports up to three DVB-ASI Inputs or Outputs in one device as
well as IP Routing over ATM (IPoA). It is designed to provide cost-
effective solutions for DVB-T/C/S and -H applications.

ATecoM's Merlin enriches the family of broadband networks adapters and
provides a cost-effective solution that is targeted to the delivery of
sophisticated broadcast video and data over high-speed wide area networks
(SDH/SONET, ATM and PDH).

The Merlin AM-1 is designed for studios, broadcasters and telecommunication
operators who will profit from the flexibility for a wide range of digital
broadcasting applications. Because of the RoHS compliance it fulfils the
new environmental requirements.
