Serial Digital/Composite Video and Audio Monitoring
The Magni SDM-560M Serial Digital/Composite Video Monitor adds automated measurement, remote control, remote reporting, and audio phase meter displays to the SDM-560 patented rasterizer monitoring platform.
The SDM-560M's revolutionary display technology provides picture, waveform, vector, audio, and digital measurements for Serial Digital 601 and Composite analog signals on a single screen. Designed as a "true" digital monitoring system, it provides on-screen readings of digital signal strength, jitter and EDH errors.

The SDM-560M Serial Digital/Composite Video Monitor |
Raster Scan Monitoring Systems The SDM-560 series uses Magni's patented phosphor simulation raster scan technology for displaying waveforms. Raster scan on-screen displays provide picture, waveform, vector, and measurement screens, eliminating the inherent CRT errors and size constraints of direct view monochrome analog CRTs. Magni's patented "Adaptive Graticule" technology provides different graticules and color capabilities for individual measurements, eliminating the clutter and associated problems of internal and external graticules required by analog CRTs. Furthermore, standard video output on-screen displays provide a routable video signal for distribution within or outside of the television facility. |
Automated measurements with remote control and reporting. |
On screen display output of waveform, vector, picture, audio and signal parameters in both SDI and Composite formats. |
Multi-window display on a standard Composite or SDI capable picture monitor. |
On screen readout of SDI parameters such as signla strength, jitter, EDH error. Gamut verification with picture bright up. |
Multi-standard, NTSC/PAL, 525/625 |
Audio metering and phase displays of embedded SDI, AES-3 or 4 channel analog audio input, plus outputs for aural monitoring. |
