8 Channel Serial Digital Video MUX for Uncompressed SDI & HD-SDI Transport System
The BDVX-6800 is a Laser based multichannel system using the BMDM-7000/WDM series to multiplex 8 channels of Uncompressed SDI and HD-SDI over one single fiber.
The system provides studio broadcast quality transmission of uncompressed 10-bit serial digital video. It automatically locks to the standard SMPTE rate signals, then processes these signals to minimize jitter and BER across the link. A digital signal offers superior receiver output stability unaffected by optical fiber attenuation, aging, splicing and other degradation. Only ITU-Grid singlemode fiber is used. The systems are embedded with AES/EBU Audio and Data (per SMPTE 272/299M).
