The SADA020 is an AES/EBU digital audio distribution amplifier which incorporates programmable audio delay of up to 500ms. It is designed to overcome lip-sync problems which occur when video signals undergo significant processing in synchronizers and coders and in the use of large flat panel displays. The delay may be set manually or through GPI signals, and the delay setting is held in non-volatile memory. Delay step size is 10ms. Digital audio inputs and outputs are transformer balanced, and are all taken through a 50way D-type connector due to the compact nature of the amplifier. Breakout cables with XLR connectors are available.
