The 86500 Series Heat Exchangers are ideal for areas where water is limited. The loads are rugged, self-contained, easily operated, and portable units capable of dissipating up to 80 kW of RF power from DC to 800 MHz with a VSWR of 1.10:1. With this low reflection coefficient the loads are very useful for tuning transmitters. They can be used to terminate AM, FM, TV, CW or Pulse transmissions in 50-Ohm coaxial transmission line systems. When used in conjunction with Coaxial Dynamics Directional RF Insertion Wattmeters, these loads can accurately measure power up to 80 kW.
