The EN9251is an High Definition 1080i / 720p 4:2:2 & 4:2:0 MPEG2 Encoder ideally suited for any Hi-End broadcast and professional MPEG-2 HDTV encoding, where low delay ( two frames ), High picture quality, completeness of features are wanted to create High-Quality High Definition services minimizing bit-rates.
This Encoder performs Stat-Mux encoding with advanced variable bit-rate control, built-in extensive PSI-SI service descriptor and tables generation for HDTV services creation, HD-SDI embedded Video input with 2 digital stereo audio pairs as standard, DOLBY AC3 Pass-Through, Multi-ASI out, SNMP & WEB remote control, and is compatible with any ATSC & DVB application.
The EN9251operates also in SD pal/ntsc modes switching to SD-SDI its digital input.
