The GAP-7910TH  is the next generation High-Tech Broadcast DVB-T / DVB-H GAP FILLER modulator, performing Superior outstanding MER QUALITY and World-Modes SFN-MFN modulations, bands & frequencies.
Purpose of this GAP FILLER is to RECEIVE AND RE-TRANSMIT a wanted DVB-T / DVB-H service on the very-same frequency, “ FILLING “ small areas where the main transmitter signal is not received because hidden by small hills or any other obstacle on the territory.
In order to operate the Gap Filler on the very same channel ( TX/RX ) the reception antenna must point the opposite direction of the local transmission antenna, performing the needed insulation.
The GAP-7910TH performs both SELECTABLE NON-REGENERATIVE and REGENERATIVE operations full-filling any possible application.
In NON-REGENERATIVE MODE, it receive and filter digitally the signal performing real-time precision ECHO CANCELLATION, then outputs a clean signal with a very good MER quality on the very-same frequency without disrupting the phase in case of SFN operations.
The user has also the choice to select from the front panel the REGENERATIVE MODE, where the SL-GAP-TH acts as a RECEIVER & MODULATOR passing the signal through ASI.
Regenerative mode becomes useful when the received signal is too degraded so it needs to be converted back to asi to be remodulated.
Since the entire RX / TX process is made by the very same processor, no phase errors are introduced in any working-mode achieving the maximum signal coverage and a perfect echo cancellation.
