The typical application of the MEDIALOGGER ranges from Broadcasting to Medical, Security, Military, and any other professional operation where HIGH QUALITY multimedia material need to be captured automatically, stored and indexed for following operations or monitoring purposes.

MEDIAMASTER Content Management Network

 The built-in Media Asset Management allows operators to search & seek captured materials from wanted days / times / channels, with real-time streaming preview and frame-accurate precision from any network workstation.

A full-set of advanced tools allows then to mark-in / mark-out interesting segments, add meta-tags & descriptions, burn DVD copies, print to tape via any external Deck, EDIT via the favorite video editing software, or transfer to any other server on the network for any other storage, streaming, conversion, on-air or distribution purposes.

The MEDIALOGGER also connects directly to any existing MEDIAMASTER content management network, participating to the MEDIA CONTENT DATA POOL accessed and searched by all the MEDIAMASTER operators.

 MEDIALOGGER - Flexible and Reliable

 The MEDIALOGGER moves the digital video recording operations to a new higher level of security and reliability, matching the most demanding applications where quality and non-stop operations are most wanted.

Based on industrial processing technology (not a PC), the MEDIALOGGER stores all the captured feeds to its local RAID-5 disks of S-ATA type on hot-swappable modules.

Up to 90 or more days can be continuously recorded to disk with DVD quality, and more hard disk modules can be installed within the unit to achieve the wanted storage capacity. Up to 4 independent video Feeds can be captured per each MEDIALOGGER unit, fitting up to four electronic capture boards chosen from our range of MPEG-1 / 2 / 4 AVC / WMV HD/SD encoders.

Where mission-critical capture operations are needed, two channels of one MEDIALOGGER or two different MEDIALOGGERS can be configured to perform an automated HOT-BACKUP simultaneous capture fed from two different sources, so in the case one source fails, an automated feature takes care of the frame-accurate continuity of the capturing file with no interruption.
