The DA1912SX is a 1-In 2-Out RGBS high-resolution video distribution amplifier designed to allow the connection of a single computer or video interface source to two displays.
Although designed to pass an RGBS signal format, the DA1912SX can also pass RGsB, Component Video (Y, R-Y, B-Y), S-video (Y/C), and Composite Video by utilizing the appropriate channels.
The DA1912SX has an Input Termination switch which is normally turned ON, but can be set in the OFF position to allow looping multiple units together using optional BNC "T" connectors. This may also be used as a means to feed a local monitor.
The DA1912SX has switches for Video Level and Sync Level. The Video Level switch can either be set normally at 0.7V or at 1.0V to provide an approximate 35% increase in the video signal level for cable runs exceeding 100 feet. The Sync Level switch allows setting the output sync to a standard 4Vp-p or to 2Vp-p (required for some older display equipment). The DA1912SX utilizes AGC (Automatic Gain Control) sync circuitry, therefore the output sync will always either be 4Vp-p or 2Vp-p regardless of the sync input level.
The DA1912SX is supplied with a 9V 500mA external power adapter.
