The Sync Doctor¢â ?model SS7515 ?is a computer video sync stabilizer and RGB equalizer designed to help resolve some common image problems encountered in the field. While it cannot resolve all issues, it does provide a great number of options for manipulating sync characteristics and can be an effective tool for troubleshooting and/or resolving problems in many applications.

The Sync Doctor must be installed immediately preceding a computer video input to a large screen display or projector, at the "end of the run." The Sync Doctor offers 5 BNC connectors for RGBHV on the input and a 15-pin HD (VGA-type) connector on the output, making for easy insertion in these types of applications.

The Sync Doctor is also a great tool for equalizing the RGB portion of the computer video signal to compensate for attenuation over long cable runs. It offers three 16-position controls that allow the user to fine-tune the image. The Sync Doctor can compensate for cable runs up to 300 feet, depending on the signal resolution and cable quality.

The Sync Doctor also provides GLI on Board (built-in Ground Loop Isolation). This feature helps to prevent ground loops, which are typically seen in the form of a gray bar rolling from bottom to top over a computer video image. In addition to computer video signals, the Sync Doctor can pass stereo audio signals, with the ability to convert incoming unbalanced audio to balanced audio on the output.
