The MX2100AV is a 2-In 2-Out VGA through QXGA + Audio auto-switcher with front-panel push button override, as well as manual remote capability through dual momentary contact closure switches. It is also an auto-switcher: in the absence of manual control, it can automatically switch to the active input source by sensing an incoming signal. If two inputs are active, the MX2100AV defaults to Input #2.
The MX2100AV offers a main output that passes the selected source computer video signal, and a local output that passes either the selected computer video input, or alternatively, can be over-ridden by dip-switch to always pass input #1. Both video outputs are fully buffered, and both offer full video equalization, capable of compensating for cable lengths up to 300 feet (91m).
In addition to switching between VGA type signals, the MX2100AV also switches stereo audio signals, providing two 3.5mm stereo mini input jacks, a 3.5mm local monitor jack always looped to input #1, and a balanced stereo audio output on a 5 pin terminal block.
The MX2100AV can be mounted under a table using an ALTINEX table-mount bracket, such as the TM1271 or TM1272. It can also be rack mounted using the ALTINEX DA1293FC shelf or DA1294FC ears.
