Neptune comprises two fully independent SDI framestore synchronisers in a 1RU chassis.
In addition to the standard 10 bit SDI inputs, a range of other analogue and digital input formats are available as options to allow flexible signal acquisition. Outputs are SDI and composite analogue (monitoring) as standard.
The unit can be user configured as two fully independent channels or as an intelligent switch that selects the 'best' input according to user selected criteria. In dual (redundant) path applications, the dual frame architecture can allow a disturbance free transition from a failing signal to a good signal.
There are comprehensive local controls for signal levels and timing adjustments as well as an industry standard control interface for remote and automation applications.
Embedded audio synchronisers and level adjustments are available as an option in addition to the standard 'transparent' audio processing features.

The unit can operate stand alone or be genlocked to station reference. There are also internal test signal and source ident insertion facilities. This low cost, compact and flexible dual channel synchroniser is designed for use in a wide range of studio, edit suite, OB and transmission environments.
